Terms & Conditions

 

Number of guests

Only the maximum numbers of guests, specified per room or tent in your booking contract, are permitted to stay ‘over night’. 

 

Rates

Rates are quoted in New Zealand dollars and are inclusive of 15% GST. 

 

Check-out

Check-out time is 11:00am, unless a late check-out time has been agreed with management in advance. This allows us to properly prepare the property for the next guests. 

 

Departure

The property and facilities should be left in a similar state to its condition on arrival. If the property is left in an unacceptable state, we will have to charge for extra cleaning at $50 an hour. 

 

Damage, breakages, theft & loss

These are the guests responsibility and will be charged accordingly. 

 

Non-sanctioned events

It is strictly prohibited to use the property for a party, event or function, without an event booking contract. Should the property be used for any event other than that for which it is booked, the guests involved will be charged extra fees to cover additional wear and tear on the property, cleaning, garbage removal, garden repair, etc. 

 

Exclusivity

The property and facilities are available for guests use only.

 

Late cancellations

Omatua is an exclusive property, so late cancellations have a significant impact. In the event that we are unable to replace a cancelled booking, the following applies:

Bookings cancelled at least 30 days before check-in will received a 100% refund. Cancellations between 14 and 30 days before check-in, will receive a 50% refund. Otherwise, no refunds are given. 

 

Smoking

Smoking is not permitted inside any of the buildings.

 

Privacy statement

We are committed to ensuring that your privacy is protected. Under no circumstances will the details of guests be shared amongst individuals nor be distributed to third party organisations without consent.
