Join us for a private, unhurried tour of Omatua. You can explore the 5 acres of riverside lawns, tour the refurbished bedrooms, check out the 2 x indoor options, commercial kitchen, and stand in the exact spot where you'll say "I do."Step 3: Lock in Your Weekend
Once you fall in love with the property, secure your dates with a deposit. Because we only host one wedding per weekend, the entire venue is officially locked in exclusively for you.Step 4: Design Your Celebration
This is where your BYO freedom shines. Hire your favorite caterer, book food trucks, source your own beverages, or partner with our recommended suppliers to design a spectacular outdoor marquee setup on the lawns.Step 5: The Wedding Takeover
Arrive on Friday afternoon to unpack, decorate, and host a relaxed rehearsal dinner. Wake up refreshed on Saturday morning with no traffic, no rushing, and your closest 47 friends and family waking up right there with you. Enjoy the day after without the rush of packing up and relax together to really make the most of your special occasion.
The property and buildings are wheelchair accessible and include a fully equipped, commercial kitchen, bathroom facilities, and accommodation for up to 47 guests.
The indoor venue ‘Riddell Lodge’ can seat up to 120 guests, or 200 standing for a cocktail style event. In addition, we have a smaller more intimate venue in the dining room that can seat 60-80 guests beside the fireplace.
Our venue can also cater for a marquee style wedding, and we have a selection of packages available with a number of trusted, local vendors who can cater to your specific needs.
