Omatua was the most incredible wedding venue we could have ever hoped for. The outdoor spaces are absolutely stunning and immaculately maintained, creating the perfect backdrop for our December wedding. What we loved most was the freedom to plan our day exactly how we wanted, with full use of the amazing facilities – including accommodation that comfortably sleeps so many guests.
Katie was an absolute dream to work with. She was so flexible, accommodating, and genuinely invested in making our day everything we wanted it to be. We chose the three-day package and cannot recommend it enough. Spending the whole weekend there made the experience so relaxed and special, with no stress of rushing to set up or pack down in a short timeframe.
From start to finish, it was a 10/10 experience. Highly, highly recommend Omatua to any couple planning their wedding or any event.

Omatua Lodge absolutely blew us away. From the moment we arrived, it felt like stepping into our own little world of calm, beauty, and good energy. The grounds are stunning, the spaces are thoughtful, and everything just flows in a way that makes you relax without even trying.
Our wedding weekend was nothing short of magic. The lodge gave us room to breathe, room to celebrate, room to be with our people in the best way. Every corner felt cared for and personal, from the gardens to the indoor spaces to the little touches that make hosting such a big event feel easy. A home away from home. Everything is thought about from pots and pans to rubbish bins provided.
Katie was incredible to work with. Warm, organised, relaxed, and always one step ahead. She checked in with us, supported us, and somehow made everything feel simple in the middle of the beautiful chaos. You can tell she genuinely loves the place and takes pride in every detail. Katie also gave us the freedom to feel welcome.
Our guests couldn’t stop talking about how gorgeous the venue was, how peaceful it felt, and how perfect it was for a wedding that was all about love, laughter, family, and friends.
We are so grateful we chose this place for such an important moment in our lives. If you are looking for a venue that feels both luxurious and grounded, beautiful yet comfortable, and run by someone who genuinely cares, Omatua Lodge is it.
